Taking It By Force
Outreach Ministries aspires to bring glory to
the Father in every endeavor. The desire of
our heart is to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ so that at the
end of each day we might say, “We have brought you glory on
earth by completing the work you gave us to do.” (St. John
17:4) Our ministry is built on the following foundations of faith:
THE INERRANCY OF THE BIBLE
The scriptures, which include the Old and New Testaments, are divinely
inspired and represent the infallible and authoritative word of God in
all matters of faith and conduct. (2nd Tim 3:15-17; 1st Thess 2:13; 2nd
Peter 1:21)
JESUS CHRIST IS FULLY GOD AND
FULLY MAN
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.
- Born of a virgin (St. Matt
1:23; St. Luke 1:31-35)
- Lived a Sinless life (Heb
7:26; 1st Peter 2:22; Heb 4:15)
- Died on the Cross to atone
for our sins (1St Cor 15:3; 2nd Cor 5:21)
- Bodily rose from the dead
(Acts 1:9; Acts 2:32; Heb 1:3)
- Now sits at the right hand of
His Father (Acts 2:33; Heb 10:12)
- He will return to earth in
power and glory (Zech 14:5; St. Matt 24:27; Rev 19:11-14)
SALVATION
Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of
Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith when we accept Jesus
Christ as our Lord and Savior, and we are cleansed from sin through
repentance and regeneration of the Holy Spirit. (St. John 3:3; St. Luke
24:46-47; Rom 10:13; Eph 2:8; Titus 2:11-12; Titus 3:5-7; St. John 6:63)
HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit, our abiding Helper, Teacher and Guide, indwells and
empowers every believer in Jesus Christ. (Rom 8:11; Rom 8:26-27; St.
John 15:26; St. John 14:16-17; Isa 61; Acts 1:8; 1st Cor 2:10)
THE CHURCH
The Church is the Body of Christ, the fellowship of all believers.
Christians have been called out from the world to obey the teachings of
Christ and serves as His ambassadors and co-laborers. (St. Matt
18:18-20; St. John 15:19-20; Eph 1:22-23; Eph 5:23; 1st Cor 3:9)
BAPTISM IN WATER
(St. Matt 28:19; Acts 10:47)
HOLY COMMUNION
The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience in which we
partake of the bread and the fruit of the vine, remembering the death
of Jesus and anticipate His Second Coming (1st Cor 11:23-26)
ETERNITY
There will be a final judgment and the resurrection of both the saved
and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting
damnation. (St, Matt 25:46; St. Mark 9:43-48; Rev 19:20; Rev 21:8)
